Inside both cuffs, a small stressball - what we call the soothe ball. Something for your hand on the days it won't sit still. Removable, for laundry days and gym wear. Made from a elastic, ultra-soft plushie material.
The hoodie is the point. The cuff is the reason.
It lifts out when you want it to.
A quiet seam runs inside each cuff. The soothe ball lifts free in a second and presses back just as easily - nothing to fuss with, nothing to show.

The longer version.
I've never been able to sit still. Ever since I was a kid I've always been fidgeting. Even working on this website, waiting for videos to upload, I am constantly fidgeting. My hand finds something - a ring to turn, a pen to click, the corner of a phone case to dig at, some loop to spin. For years I thought it was a thing to fix. Eventually I figured out it wasn't going anywhere, and the question was just where to put it.
I tried the obvious ones first:
Everything else felt like something designed for kids and I would be embarrassed if were to use it at work or in public. The version I wanted didn't exist, so I made one. A heavyweight hoodie - adult cut, no logos shouting - with a small piece tucked inside the cuffs. I designed it out of the same elastic material that you find in all those plushies that are super soft and plush.
After building the prototype, I gave it away to 30 people who wore prototypes for three months. The notes that came back were almost always in the same words: "I forget it's there until I need it." or "Why didn't I have this sooner?"

This isn't a cure for anything. It's a hoodie that has somewhere for the hand to go.

We call it the Soothe Ball.
Built into the inner cuff where your palm is, it's discreet and unnoticed from the exterior.
It's a solid piece of elastic and plush material, commonly found in plushies to ensure we get a soft and plush feeling but also elastic so that its shape returns quickly when you let go from squeezing.
Slide it out whenever you want.
It's a sealed, solid piece - there's nothing inside to pop, leak, or deflate, and it holds its shape and weight even after millions of squeezes.
You can wash it with the hoodie or take it out and wash it seperately, it's up to you!
It's made in 450 GSM - which we think is heavier and denser than a standard hoodie. The weight comes from the fabric itself, not from added inserts.
But, it sits lighter than something like a weighted blanket.
We compromised for a balance of being breathable, durable and plush but without it being suffocating.
We use a 50% cotton, 50% polyester blend made with a cotton-rich exterior yarn and a plush fleece lined interior to keep you nice and cozy.
The hood is double-lined with a deep and structured stitching to make sure that anyone's big head can fit!

- Our cotton-polyester blend resists pilling
- A 50/50 cotton/polyester fabric generally shrinks very little. We won't pretend that it will never shrink, but if you treat it right with normal cold wash cycles and tumble low, it will hold its shape and size.
- No need to hand-wash
- Leave the soothe ball in the cuff or take it out (it doesn't matter)
- Cold machine wash on a normal cycle and line dry
- Wash with like colours
- The fabric softens over the first few washes
